- Press the WinR keys on your keyboard, type msconfig into the Run window and press Enter.
- On the General tab, check the Selective startup option and Uncheck Load startup items.
- Go to the Services tab, check Do not show Microsoft services, and then click Disable all.

- In safe mode, press the WinR keys and type verifier to launch the Driver Verifier Manager.
- On the first screen select “Create custom parameters (for program code)”.
- Next, check all the boxes except “Emulate random resource shortages” and the two items related to DDI compliance.
- Select “Select driver name from the list”.
- Sort the drivers by the Supplier column (clicked on the column heading) and check all drivers except those provided by Microsoft. Click the Finish button.
- If you started safe mode using msconfig, go back (as in the first step) and Disable boot in safe mode.

After that, the following scenarios are possible:
- The system will boot, work for a while, and then a blue screen appears with the old MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error or a new one, like DRIVER_VERIFIED_DETECTED_VIOLATION with the file name sys (if the file name is specified. remember or write it down, this is the faulty driver).
- The system will show a blue screen even before the system boots.

When you start the computer in clean boot mode, the computer starts with a preselected minimum set of drivers and startup programs, and since the computer starts with a minimum set of drivers, some programs may not work as expected. Rollback a recently updated device driver
If you have recently updated any driver I suggest you rollback the driver and see if that helps.
The BIOS is a sensitive part of the computer. It is a software component that the hardware depends on to function. Hence, you must be very careful when changing anything in the BIOS. I would recommend you skip this method if you don’t know what you’re doing or don’t know how to do it. You can rely on the instructions in which I described in great detail how I updated my UEFI (Bios).

And now in more detail on all these points and in various methods to correct the error in question.
Almost always, the appearance of a blue screen_TDR_FAILURE is associated with a topic or other aspect of the card. often. problems with drivers or software (if programs and games are not using the card’s functions correctly), less often. with some nuances of the card itself (hardware), its temperature or excessive load. TDR = Timeout, Detection, and Recovery, and an error occurs if the card stops responding.
In this case, already by the name of the faulty file in the error message, one can conclude which card is in question

Important: Some users mistakenly think that if they click Update Driver in Device Manager, automatically search for updated drivers and receive a message that “The most suitable drivers for this device are already installed,” it means that the latest driver is installed. In fact, this is not the case (the message only says that Windows Update cannot offer you another driver).
To update the driver, the correct way is to download the drivers for your card from the official website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) and manually install it on your computer. If error_TDR_FAILURE occurs on a laptop with Windows 10, then this way can help (it happens that branded drivers from the manufacturer, especially on laptops, have their own characteristics):
- Download drivers for the card from the official website of the laptop manufacturer.
- Uninstall existing card drivers (both integrated and discrete).
- Install the drivers downloaded in the first step.
If the problem, on the contrary, appeared after updating the drivers, try rolling back the driver by following the steps below:
- Open the device manager (for this you can right-click on the Start button and select the Corresponding context menu item).
- In device manager open “adapters”, right-click on the name of the card and open “Properties”.
- Open the “Driver” tab in the properties and check if the “Rollback” button is active, if yes. Use it.
If the above methods with the driver did not help, try the options from the article, the driver stopped responding and was restored. in fact, this is the same problem as the blue screen_TDR_FAILURE (only the driver does not work successfully), and additional solutions from the instructions given may turn out to be useful. Even in the absence of such a symptom, I recommend that you scan your computer for malware.

- If Windows 10 does not boot, and the TDR_FAILURE error appears even before logging into the system, you can try booting from a bootable USB flash drive with a 10, on the second screen at the bottom left, select “System Restore”, and then use restore points. If they are absent, you can try to restore the registry manually.

A system crash in BSOD with the subsequent appearance of a “blue screen of death” in most cases is caused either by hardware problems or by a driver malfunction. However, sometimes the source of the problem is a malfunction of software that is NOT directly connected to the hardware. An example of this is the Memory Management error, which you encounter under various circumstances both in Windows 10 and in earlier versions of the operating system. But what is Memory Management, and why exactly this inscription appears in the error description?
Scanning for infection
The least likely prerequisite for the appearance of a blue screen with a Memory Management stop code in Windows 10 is a virus infection, however, this option should not be ruled out. Perform an in-depth scan of the system partition and boot areas with a good antivirus, preferably from a LiveCD.
Checking the integrity of system files
It will no longer be superfluous to check for deletion, damage or substitution of operating system files. In Windows 10, there is an sfc / scannow command for THESE purposes, executed in a command prompt or PowerShell launched with administrator privileges. If it detects any changes to the utility during the next boot, Windows will restore the original files from local storage.
The main causes of the problem
Literally, the name of the error translates as “Memory Management”, therefore, it is somehow related to malfunctions in the computer’s RAM. In this case, the error does not always indicate a physical malfunction of the RAM strip. Its occurrence can be provoked by a driver malfunction, damage to some system files, incompatibility of hardware components (often observed during an upgrade), their overheating, incorrect BIOS and power settings, errors in updating the OS and the operation of third-party software.
Often it is not possible to immediately determine the reasons for the appearance of the blue Memory Management screen. The exceptions are cases when the user performed actions such as updating drivers, replacing components, overclocking, and the like. Each of THESE procedures is fraught with failure. If nothing seems to have happened to the occurrence of an error, you will have to act by the method of exception, moving from one way of solving the problem to the second.
Roll back Windows to a restore point
This is an affordable, simple and universal way to fix many problems, including Memory Management errors in Windows 10. During the process of rolling back to a previous restore point, old drivers, system registry and most important files will be restored in the system. Find problem drivers
Now let’s see how to fix a Memory Management error caused by a driver conflict with the operating system kernel. Which driver is failing will have to be determined manually, as the BSOD screen does NOT say anything about it. You can identify Problem Software using the standard Driver Verifier Manager and the BlueScreenView memory dump reading utility, but this requires some skill. If you have at least basic skills in working with memory dumps, try this method too.
Having booted in safe mode, start the Driver Verification Manager with the verifier command, activate the “Create custom parameters” radio button in the window that opens, click “Next” and check the boxes indicated in the screenshot.
