Antenna Gain: If you have an external antenna, be sure to specify its gain, with the calculation of 0.5, on the connecting node. And also if you are using a cable, look at the marking on the cable, attenuation per unit of measurement (meter, 10 meters, etc.) of the cable and enter the value taking into account the cable attenuation.

WMM Support: If you are going to use Multicast, then set this option to Enabled, this will give great guarantees for the delivery of this package. If you are setting up MikroTik at home, then enable this option, but if it is a restaurant or a conference room, then one client can gobble up the entire channel.

Distance: A very interesting parameter, if clients are in the same room and approximately at the same distance, well, let’s say everything is within a radius of 20 meters from the access point, then indicate indoors, if you have a field or conference room in an open area, and clients are at different distances of more than 0.20 meters then specify dynamic. And thirdly, if the clients are at the same distance, say 1 km, then indicate that. This option allows Mikrotik to use a built-in algorithm to calculate whether the package has been delivered to the desired addressee.

Periodic Calibration: The fact is that the WI-FI chip heats up during its operation, and because of this, the frequency may move down a little, respectively, enable this option. Leave the next field equal to one minute. Frequency will be calibrated every minute.
